About Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation
Miwatj Health is an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service. Established in 1992, we’re committed to providing quality services across East Arnhem Land and enabling YolÅ‹u powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary and public health for over 6,000 residents of this remote landscape. With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, and a Corporate Office in Darwin, our delivery is focused on 7 health centres across East Arnhem Land and dedicated outreach teams who travel to additional locations.
What we’re looking for in you!
An influential professional with deep expertise and a strong track record in providing strategic partnering and advisory services across an employment lifecycle. You’ll be a confident communicator, experienced in coaching, leading and implementing change programs. You will enjoy facilitating individual and organisational development interventions across varying channels and complexities.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational Psychology or related business field, a contemporary understanding of relevant legislation and leading practice, high digital literacy, and a strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination. Experience working in remote communities and/or the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
