The Principal Project Manager will contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives within Statewide Specialist Children & Families Operations (SCFO); provide strategic advice regarding high-level and cross-divisional projects; and provide support to ensure the division's accountabilities are effectively managed and coordinated. The Principal Project Manager will work with various departments and other departmental divisions to collaborate and develop solutions for emerging challenges and promote the wellbeing and safety of Victorian children and families by driving key reforms across the various SCFO responsibilities.

Accountabilities Include

• Provide high-level specialist advice and support on a range of strategic project, policy and operational matters.
• Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including supporting the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters; as well as contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
• Review, prepare, and present detailed, comprehensive reports, briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex policy and operational issues as well as preparing regular and ad hoc reports and correspondence.
