THE ROLEThe Business Manager is responsible for the planning, support and quality of the Housing Call Centre's (HCC) day to day functions.
As the Business Manager, you will oversee the business support team, quality, technical support and training within the HCC as well as have oversight into provision of all budget maintenance, procurement, building facility management, recruitment and administrative functions.
In addition to these tasks, you will also contribute to the overall management through participation as part of the HCC Leadership Team, contributing to decision making with regards to the HCC future development and departmental strategies.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Oversee local delivery of integrated, multidisciplinary services that provide holistic client outcomes and ensure they meet state-wide departmental and government objectives, budget considerations and community expectations.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of issues impacting the department's clients and investigate and lead critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards and operating practices to enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency and improved client outcomes.
* Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders, and collaborate on the strategic design and development of departmental objectives that impact state-wide or significant localised service delivery to ensure effective, efficient and coordinated services are provided for all clients.
