As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Manager to lead our human resources function in Alice Springs.
About the Role:
As the HR Manager, you will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business objectives. You will oversee all facets of human resources, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compliance, learning and development, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage end-to-end HR functions and processes
• Provide strategic HR guidance to senior leadership
• Drive initiatives that foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
• Support managers with workforce planning and performance management
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff development programs
• Manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues proactively
• Maintain and improve HR systems, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
• Proven experience (5+ years) in an equivalent HR role, preferably in a regional or remote setting
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence, lead, and manage change
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field
• Experience in HRIS systems and data-driven HR practices
Desirable:
• Previous experience working in Alice Springs or other regional communities
• Exposure to Indigenous employment strategies and workforce inclusion initiatives
