Description:

Join Vocus as an IT Support Officer in Melbourne, providing first and second-level IT support in a dynamic environment.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Providing telephone and face-to-face technical support for Vocus IT issues.
  • Resolving client problems, queries, and complaints effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate log entries of faults and resolutions.
  • Ensuring hardware/software installations meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Providing professional service with regular updates and realistic resolution times.
  • Working independently on tasks without referral to the Corporate IT Manager.
  • Coordinating and updating the IT Support Wiki & Knowledge Base.
  • Collaborating effectively with other teams.
  • Participating in ongoing team training.
  • Escalating unresolved technical queries to relevant teams.
  • Performing other Corporate IT tasks as directed.

About you

Qualifications

  • Up to 2-3 years of IT Support experience or relevant IT qualifications.
  • A tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong customer service focus and technical knowledge of desktop hardware/software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of the organization's Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Australian citizenship is desirable.
