About the Role
The Head of Football is responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining a competitive and thriving Football program. The Head of Football will oversee all aspects of the school's Football program, including coaching, player development, and program management; as well as provide operational leadership specific to the School's sporting culture. The incumbent will implement appropriate programs that will cater for a range of ability levels, from beginners to elite athletes. This position may require the Head of Football to perform the duties of a coach from time to time.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate, and possess the following:
- Ability to lead and inspire a team both on and off the field.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff.
- Ability to implement initiatives, deliver projects, and manage change.
- Previous experience in a similar role or as a high-level football coach.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of football and up-to-date knowledge of current coaching techniques.
- Efficient management of administrative tasks and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the CGS community including students, team members, and parents.
All team members at CGS are required to have:
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check; and
- Full working rights within Australia.
