About the Role

Homesteads Aged Care facility is a warm and welcoming family home, set across four cozy cottages. Our team is vibrant, dedicated, and deeply committed to providing compassionate care, creating a supportive and positive environment for both residents and staff.

We are looking for a Hospitality Team Leader to lead our hospitality team within our Seniors Living group . In this role, you will oversee the coordination and delivery of catering services, ensuring they meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards in food preparation, kitchen operations, and overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Catering Management – Oversee meal planning, preparation, and presentation, ensuring residents receive nutritious and delicious meals.
  • Equipment & Compliance – Ensure kitchen, laundry, and cleaning equipment are well-maintained and all procedures meet regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Stock & Budget Management – Control stock rotation, ordering, quality checks, and approve invoices in line with budget requirements.
  • Leadership & Team Support – Supervise, mentor, and guide the hospitality team, ensuring a strong, positive team culture aligned with our mission and values.

About You

You are a motivated and experienced hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for service.

You have:

  • Chef trade qualification with a minimum experience in aged care or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in catering, cleaning, and laundry procedures, including texture-modified meals and thickened fluids.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and food safety regulations (holding a current Food Safety Certificate).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement .

Mandatory Requirements

  • Possess a current National Police Certificate, NDIS worker Screening Check – or the ability to obtain.
