Description:
The Principal HR Consultant, Workforce Policy and Projects is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of the QAS HR policy management framework and statewide, strategic workforce management initiatives designed to meet required organisational outcomes which comply with legislative and industrial obligations.We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Demonstrated expertise in understanding, interpreting and providing high level strategic and tactical advice on employment frameworks (including legislation, awards, agreements etc.) to all levels of management relating to a wide range of workforce management issues.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of quality HR policies across the organisation, to manage risk, support effective decision-making, and ensure contemporary workforce management practices which comply with legislative and industrial obligations and are contextualised to meet unique organisational requirements.
- Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills in order to work autonomously to provide quality advice and solutions to complex workforce issues pertaining to employment and legislative frameworks
- Proven high level ability to build productive relationships and liaise, advise and negotiate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve expected organisational outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with influence through verbal and written material, ensuring a professional, high-quality standard is maintained at all times, with the ability to develop and deliver workforce development activities designed to improve capability and outcomes.
