Description:
THE ROLE
Our minor works division, GB Projects , are taking over the fit out and refurbishment space. We are growing rapidly, tendering and winning more projects between the value of $1 million - $20 million across a range of sectors.
We are looking for a Contract Administrator to join our small but mighty Engadine Project. Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:
- Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan, aligning package allocations with project team capabilities
- Analyse and review project budgets, driving the creation of accurate and ambitious target budgets
- Create and manage a detailed procurement schedule synced with the overall project timeline
- Issue and manage non-conformance reports, delay notices, EOTs, and subcontractor variations with precision and authority
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate head contract payment claims in full compliance with contract terms
- Partnering with all stakeholders to drive positive (and timely) results for the project
- Mentoring junior members of the team and imparting your experience and expertise
ABOUT YOU:
Contract Administrators are all about that “whatever it takes” mindset! If you thrive on problem-solving and embrace every challenge that comes your way, you’ll fit right in with a supportive project team cheering you on.
Essentials you’ll need for this role:
- Construction related degree
- Experience – you’re a competent CA, knowing your way around a project that’s worth upwards of $1m – bonus points if you’ve worked in refurb or minor works
- A system expert with Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Jobpac, Payapps, Aconex and ProcurePro (or, similar)
- You’re a contract writing wizard – you know how to prepare a scope of work like the back of your hand, and a stickler for compliance – nothing gets past you
- You’ll be a born negotiator with a commercially savvy eye– you’re able to manage contract deliverables, ensure these are being met and align to the financial hurdles of the project
- Stellar communication skills that make stakeholder management a breeze!
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Hybrid environment – the project is based in Engadine, but we support WFH and love visits to our fabulous Woolloomooloo office
- Flexibility in how and when you work to support you to perform at your best
- Career development and coaching designed to turbocharge your goals – at Growthbuilt, we're all about ‘growing our own’
