Our Federal Government client has a requirement for an experienced ICT Asset Co-Ordinator for an initial 12 month assignment.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum NV1 security clearance and be Canberra based
- experience in IT Asset Management, and procurement
- A knowledge and understanding of Whole of Australian Government vendors relating to the provision of ICT hardware
- Certification in IT Asset Manager (e.g., ITIL)
This role is crucial in ensuring efficient and effective management of information technology assets and involves working with the Agency's Asset Manager and a broader team for acquisition, deployment, utilisation, and disposal of IT assets to support the their financial requirements and operational objectives.
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with Stocktakes and regular reviews of ICT stock
- Experience in SAP and TM1 finance systems
- Experience in record keeping and accounting including End of Month and End of Financial Year processing
- Knowledge of the application of the PGPA Act within the Australian Public Service (APS)
- Knowledge of service contracts and management within the APS
- A broad knowledge of the freight systems in a worldwide logistics network as well as the Australian Government Safe-Hand system operation and IT purpose

Extension/s - 2 x 12 month options to extend
Eligibility - Australian Citizenship and active NV1 Clearance
Location: Canberra, A.C.T
Working arrangements - Onsite in Canberra with flexible working arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis i.e. (3 days in office + 2 days from home).
