Job Overview:The Power BI Intermediate Engineer is a mid-level professional responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Power BI. This role involves a deeper understanding of data analytics and visualization, as well as the ability to work independently and guide junior team members.Key Responsibilities:Advanced Data Visualization and Reporting\: Develop complex and dynamic visualizations and reports in Power BI. Innovate and implement best practices in data presentation.Data Analysis and Insight Generation\: Perform in-depth data analysis to extract actionable insights. Use advanced analytical techniques and query languages like SQL and DAX.BI Solutions Development and Optimization\: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient BI solutions. Optimize existing Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and usability.Data Modelling and Warehousing\: Develop robust Power BI data models and Implement data cleansing, transformation, and preparation processes as required. Team Collaboration and Leadership\: Lead small teams or projects. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams for BI project success.Documentation\: Assist in creating documentation for BI solutions Skills and Qualifications:Educational Background\: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.Technical Skills\: Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling. Familiarity with SQL and other database technologies.Analytical Skills\: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret and analyse data effectively.Communication Skills\: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to present complex data in an understandable way.Teamwork\: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under senior supervision.Experience:5-6 years of overall data warehousing and reporting experience4 plus years of experience in design and development of data visualization using Power BI Data Visualization tool
