Our client operates a Toyota dealership in Queensland and is considering their future plans for the site and their ownership. With no one presently in the wings to take over, they would like to start the search for a candidate with aspirations for their own dealership. Their plan is to appoint a General Manager who can learn the ways of the business and in the next 12 to 18 months, look at stepping up to Dealer Principal.There will be a definite timeline in place for this transition from General Manager to Dealer Principal.
The ideal candidate for this position would have experience with the Toyota brand. You could be an existing General Manager or a Sales / General Sales Manager looking to further their career. We will also accept applications from Service or Fixed Operations Managers who are familiar with the Toyota brand.
Candidates who have not worked with the Toyota brand are still welcome to apply.
This dealership is based in a regional Queensland town, a little over an hour by plane and 7 hours by road. The site was refurbished around 2 years ago and is within easy driving reach of a number of larger Queensland cities.
