The Opportunity

Austal currently have new opportunities in Darwin for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our Supply Chain Department on a full-time basis.

What’s Involved

• Provide a high level of customer service to Production Department, ensuring tools, materials and equipment are readily available for consumption into projects.
• Provide warehouse and logistics services throughout Austal facilities, in line with Supply Chain process.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner whilst maintaining an operator license.
• Stowing, picking, packaging, and handling of goods in line with Supply Chain procedures for safe storage and/or transit of goods.
  
  

You’ll need

• Hold a Construction safety induction (white card).
• Australian Citizenship required, to obtain Baseline Clearance.
• Current forklift license.
• Current manual driver’s license.
• 2+ years relevant Warehousing and Logistics experience within an Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence organisation.
• Working experience in a computerised ERP environment.
