About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lecturer to join our Community Services Team. The primary role is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
TAFE SA is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have substantial industry experience.
Minimum entry requirements:
- Hold a Certificate in TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Relevant industry qualifications in Community Services, Mental Health or Youth Work.
- Proven ability to aid in the development of learning resources used in the delivery of training package competencies
- Thorough knowledge of current CHC Training Packages specially Youth Work and Community Services
- Understanding of both State and Federal strategic policies and trends in the Community Services and Mental Health sector

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
- A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
