On behalf of our client, Caguioa Enterprise Pty Ltd, is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and qualified full-time Chef to join their dynamic team in Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future growth and success of the establishment while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
• Plan the menu, keeping in mind budget and availability of seasonal ingredients.
• Assist with all kitchen operations.
• Coordinate kitchen staff and assisting them as required.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels to place orders for supplier when required.
• Assist in training incoming staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
• Enforce safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Create menus that suit the needs of the customers.
• Keep up to date with industry standards.
• Receive feedback and making improvements where necessary.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Hold a Certificate III, IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a chef is required for the role.
• Ability to implement day to day policies and procedures as directed.
• Demonstrate experience in applying Occupational Health and Safety initiatives in a workplace.
• A strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food and beverage and guest service
Remuneration:
The salary package ranges from $73,150 to $90,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience and skills.
