The Opportunity
As Icon Water embarks on its digital transformation, this newly created leadership role gives you the chance to guide the journey and make a real impact. You will be at the forefront of driving efficiencies, managing key relationships, and shaping the future of Icon Water’s application landscape.
In this permanent ongoing lead role, you will:
  • Oversee the integration of multiple technologies, creating seamless systems and driving innovation across the organisation.
  • Build strong, strategic relationships with key business groups (in the corporate area – finance and HR SaaS environments), ensuring alignment and delivering results.
  • Leverage your leadership skills to drive operational efficiency, influence end-user groups, and ensure technology adds maximum value to the business.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
  • Team Leadership & Support Delivery: Lead a small team of applications specialists to provide ongoing support and enhancements for Icon Water’s core applications
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor performance and escalate integration issues for rapid resolution
  • System Management: Manage governance, security, user access and support, and data protection across corporate applications
  • Performance & Expertise: Establish internal KPIs and reporting across the services, while maintaining clear documentation, procedures, and user support materials across corporate applications. Support governance and change control for SaaS platforms
  • Application Health & Performance: Monitor integrations, conduct system health checks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure strong performance and availability across applications and services. Ensure ITIL-aligned processes are embedded across support practices
  • Enhancement Management: Work closely with business users, internal teams, and external vendors to plan, execute and support applications upgrades and deliver product enhancements
The Ideal Person
You're a highly experienced applications professional with strong leadership capability, clear communication skills, and a collaborative approach. You’re someone who can translate complex technical information in a way that brings others along and ensures great outcomes for the business.
You have experience supporting SaaS ERP, Finance and HR systems in complex environments along with integrations. You’re comfortable working across DevOps and Agile teams and can quickly pick up new systems as project needs evolve.
Technically, you’ve worked across a broad applications portfolio and hold relevant certifications, Azure, M365, DevOps or ITIL. Importantly, you're someone who leads by example, supports their team to succeed, has a growth mindset, and thrives in an environment where you’re continuously improving systems, processes, and performance.
Salary / Rate
The salary band starts at $140,798 + 15% Super.
