About the team


The Town’s Infrastructure and Sustainability directorate is dedicated to high standards of service delivery for the community. We contribute to the Town’s strategic objectives through the protection, enhancement and development of the Town’s assets, infrastructure and natural environment. We achieve this through a continuous improvement approach, driving a safety-first culture, and applying best practice.


About the role


The role will give the successful applicant an opportunity to:



  • Collect detailed information on Town’s infrastructure assets to assist with updating the Town’s Asset and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Maintain asset related information for all asset classifications in the Town’s asset registers and systems.
  • Support the Asset team and wider by assisting with workload, providing backup, or advice in areas of expertise.
  • Collaborate with other business units and Directorates to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinates with Government Departments, Statutory Authorities and consultants / contractors.

About you


The successful candidate will have:



  • Good verbal and written communication skills to relay information effectively.
  • Developed computer literacy skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and improvement.
  • Commitment to customer service (internal and external).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A current ‘C’ Class WA Drivers Licence.
  • Either completion or progress towards a qualification in an Asset Management or Engineering related discipline (Desirable)

Salary and Benefits


This Permanent, full-time position attracts an annual salary up to $80,600.00 plus superannuation.


The Town also offers up to 4% additional superannuation (conditions apply), 17.5% leave loading, free parking, ongoing training and professional development, and up to two additional leave days per calendar year.


Working Hours


This is a permanent Full-time role, 76 hours a fortnight, Monday to Friday. Flexibility options, hybrid work and variable start/finish times are options and may be negotiated for this role.
