Description:

Our client, Simfresh Pty Ltd, is currently seeking skilled Electrical Engineering Technicians to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing their electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety across their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Install, commission, test, and monitor electrical systems and equipment in compliance with industry safety standards.
  • Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in working areas and control systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure relevant documentation is up to date, including the writing of service reports for electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations in all activities.​
  • Collect and analyze electrical performance data, conducting tests and reporting on results.
  • Utilize CAD software and electrical schematics to assist in design modifications and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain service reports and technical documentation related to electrical systems.​
  • Assist in estimating electrical material costs and quantities for installations and maintenance.
  • Source and recommend appropriate electrical components and spare parts as required.​
  • Work closely with engineers and technical staff to ensure optimal functionality of electrical systems in the production line.
  • Provide technical support in optimizing electrical energy efficiency within the facility.
  • Assist in training production staff on safe operation and handling of electrical equipment.​
  • Perform any additional tasks related to electrical engineering support, as assigned within the employee’s expertise.​

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.​
