Description:
Our client, Simfresh Pty Ltd, is currently seeking skilled Electrical Engineering Technicians to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing their electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Install, commission, test, and monitor electrical systems and equipment in compliance with industry safety standards.
- Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in working areas and control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Ensure relevant documentation is up to date, including the writing of service reports for electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations in all activities.
- Collect and analyze electrical performance data, conducting tests and reporting on results.
- Utilize CAD software and electrical schematics to assist in design modifications and troubleshooting.
- Maintain service reports and technical documentation related to electrical systems.
- Assist in estimating electrical material costs and quantities for installations and maintenance.
- Source and recommend appropriate electrical components and spare parts as required.
- Work closely with engineers and technical staff to ensure optimal functionality of electrical systems in the production line.
- Provide technical support in optimizing electrical energy efficiency within the facility.
- Assist in training production staff on safe operation and handling of electrical equipment.
- Perform any additional tasks related to electrical engineering support, as assigned within the employee’s expertise.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
