About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide essential care and assistance to a participant. This is a permanent part-time position where the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of daily support tasks to help maintain independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hoist transfer assistance
• Personal care support (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Bowel care and catheter care
• Meal preparation
• Transportation assistance

Must be available to work the following shifts:

• Week 1: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Friday
• Week 2: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Thursday and Friday

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in providing personal care support
• Ability to use hoists and assist with transfers
• Knowledge of bowel care, catheter care, and general personal assistance
• Strong communication skills
• A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting individuals
• Previous experience in a similar support role is preferred

Required Licences/Credentials

• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid driver’s licence and vehicle with comprehensive insurance - mandatory
• NSW Working With Children - Employee
• NDIS Worker Screening Check - Employee
• Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety, and You module
