About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to manage the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities for Clinical Services across MNHHS in a client focussed and transparent manner including subsequent contract management to ensure ongoing performance of suppliers and that the obligations of MNHHS are fulfilled.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Support the Principal Procurement and Contracts Officer (Clinical Services) to provide a point of accountability and manage all aspects of clinical services procurement, management and reporting within MNHHS.
  • Protection of Metro North reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability, and transparency.
  • Ensure communication and consultation with key department personnel to ensure all procurement processes are compliant and inclusive, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring successful procurement outcomes.
  • Planning of procurement activities as it relates to the category to ensure efficient delivery as well as identifying and developing opportunities to realise efficiencies through procurement for Metro North.
  • Oversee and/or coordinate the preparation, issue, maintenance, and evaluation documentation for the offer/tendering processes including maintaining a positive relationship with all customers and suppliers.
