We are seeking a BI Cloud Support Specialist to manage, monitor, and support Ambulance Victoria's Enterprise Data Warehouse and Oracle Analytics Clouds for our Data Solutions Department. This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Blackburn North headquarters in line with our hybrid working model.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Intelligence, this position will ensure reliable performance and response to user requests for enhancements and development to support enterprise reporting. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead development of effective support processes for Cloud Enterprise Data Warehouse and Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Actively participate in the design, architecture, development, implementation, management, and support of BI reporting and ELT/ETL processes
  • Manage and control requests for services and incidents
  • Prepare reports on cloud environment performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to the design, deployment and management of the AV repositories, data catalogues and PowerBI data sets
  • Develop and continually enhance the transition to support process, reviewing process diagrams and provide improvement recommendations

About you

To be considered for this position you will possess a degree or relevant industry certification with proven subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Other requirements include but not limited to:

  • In-depth understanding of Cloud architectures and services
  • Proven experience in implementing, supporting, and integrating Azure and Oracle Cloud solutions
  • Extensive experience in Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Informatica and/or Oracle Data Integrator, and Microsoft ELT tools
  • Strong proficiency in developing Star Schemas and information models
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual and distributed team environments, with strong collaboration skills to actively participate as a team member and help achieve both team and individual goals
