  • VPS Grade 5: $109,730 - $132,764 plus superannuation.

About the Business Unit:

The Strategic Communication Branch, within the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS), delivers communication services on behalf of the department's business units to inform and educate community and staff members about departmental policies, programs, legislation and operations.

About the Role:

The Senior Adviser, Digital Communication works in the Digital Communication team to help deliver a content improvement project for Liquor Control Victoria's web presence (vic.gov.au/liquor).

The Senior Adviser, Digital Communication, will:

  • conduct in depth content audits
  • investigate content requirements in partnership with Liquor Control Victoria subject matter experts
  • develop clear, well-structured content that meets user needs and Liquor Control Victoria's business objectives, informed by recently completed user research
  • develop a content strategy that defines the web content required to meet user and business needs and how it will be governed over its lifecycle.

About You:

You will have strong skills and experience in:

  • strategically developing and managing findable, usable and satisfying web content
  • collaborating with executives and subject matter experts to identify and produce solutions that balance user needs and business requirements
  • interpreting and/or conducting user research.
