The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaging Compliance Manager to join the governance team in Melbourne.
The position reports to and will assist the Head of Legal and Compliance with managing the day-to-day risk and compliance functions of the business. The role offers plenty of scope for development and executive stakeholder engagement. This includes Line 2 Operational Risk Management, Fund and Regulatory Compliance, Board Governance and Operational Due Diligence (ODD).
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all key business stakeholders to fulfil risk and compliance obligations for the business and the Funds.
The Responsibilities
  • Compliance monitoring
  • Preparation of compliance reporting
  • Act as secretary of the Operations and Compliance Committee including preparation of papers and minutes
  • Assist with the internal annual reviews and compliance audits, including the GS007 and ODD audits.
  • Work with the Fund Operations team to ensure all compliance reporting is submitted timely and accurately, including ASX, ASIC and SEC reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation and oversight of mandatory board reporting.
  • Liaise closely with Head of Communications to assist with client Due Diligence requests.
  • Review and update corporate policies
  • Work with the Head of Legal and Compliance to improve processes and procedures.

Key skills required:

Applications are sought from risk, compliance, legal or audit specialists with experience in the financial services industry and a strong working knowledge of APRA prudential and reporting standards and ASIC legislation.
This is a permanent office-based position, full time and part time applications are welcome.
