We've just created a brand new Program Support Officer role to support our growing Home Care Packages (HCP) team. We're looking for someone who's organised, proactive, and has attention to detail

We deliver a range of primary health, social care and community services across seven (7) sites across Ballarat and the Western Region, with a team of around 300 staff.

About the role

You'll work closely with our Manager - HCP Services and be supported by the HCP Coordinator to make sure everything is in place for our clients to receive the care and support they need. Your attention to detail, organisation, and attention to detail will directly support older people to live well, and independently.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing friendly and responsive customer service to clients and providers
  • Setting up and maintaining accurate client records and systems
  • Assisting with invoicing, reconciliations, and tracking package budgets
  • Supporting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
  • Taking care of day-to-day admin to help the team deliver great care

  • Are well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks with ease
  • Have strong administrative skills and are confident using systems and databases
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with clients and colleagues
  • Understand the importance of accurate records, confidentiality, and compliance
  • Pay attention to detail and take pride in doing your work well
  • Are reliable, and follow through on tasks
  • Bring a positive, team-focused attitude and a genuine interest in supporting others
  • Have experience in aged care, health, or community services is an advantage, but not essential
