- This Logistics Coordinator position will be the Warehouse & Traffic Lead for inventory control and shipping/freight coordination.
- Inventory Control & Warehouse Management;
- Manage inventory system including shipping/receiving, stock transfer procedures.
- Manage and conduct physical counts of inventory twice a year, reconcile and update inventory records.
- Manage inventory in off-site storage locations.
- Manage container shipment from one destination to another.
- Manage equipment repair freight.
- Coordinate repairs and loan and service equipment.
- Match invoices to purchase orders to facilitate payment approval.
- Planning, receiving and dispatching stock both locally + internationally.
- Demo Requests Processing/Scheduling;
- Generate documentation for control of all demo equipment.
- Manage end to end handling of demo equipment.
- Clean returned demo equipment in readiness for next activity.
- Manage freight costs and reporting for each specific event.
- Update demo scheduler in system.
- Sales Order Management;
- Fulfilling customer orders, check orders, picking the purchased item, packaging products, coordinate and monitor the shipment of goods.
- Investigate and resolve customer service issues related to orders, shipments, and invoices.
- Retrieval and dispatch to USA.
- Freight Invoices;
- Verify and confirm rates charged on freight invoices are correct.
- Manage freight companies to maintain best preferred rates.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position and desire to work in the office 5 days a week on Northern Beaches.
- Strong Excel + Word skills & ERP system experience preferred but can be taught.
- Excellent written & verbal English communication and client relationship skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic import/export experience.
- Ability to move equipment – 25kgs.
- Forklift licence preferred or willing to be trained to operate a forklift.
- Must have full working rights and live on the Northern Beaches or Sydney's North Shore and happy to travel to Northern Beaches. If you live within a 30-minute drive from Brookvale you are encouraged to apply.
