The Isa Hotel & RedEarth Boutique Hotel are cornerstones of Mount Isa’s hospitality scene, renowned for their luxurious accommodation, fine dining, and lively entertainment options. Located in the heart of Mount Isa, these venues offer a unique opportunity to manage two diverse properties while being part of a leading Queensland hospitality group.
The Role:
As the General Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall management and success of both venues, including accommodation, dining, gaming, and event services. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high service standards, driving business performance, and fostering a positive team culture across both properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies and exceptional customer service.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and ensure cost controls are in place.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements.
- Foster relationships with the local community and enhance the hotel's reputation.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues)
- Approved Manager’s License
- Gaming Nomination
- Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) certification
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling)
