The Ministerial Services team within the Corporate Services Division, is looking for someone who wants to solve problems, build relationships and get things done. This team plays a critical support role to the ministerial offices and the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, delivering corporate service functions, allowing them to operate efficiently and deliver outcomes for Queensland.

How you'll contribute As the Executive Officer you will use your exceptional organisational skills, strong communication, attention to detail and professional work ethic to provide confidential and attentive support to the Executive Director, Ministerial Services.

In This Role, No Two Days Will Be The Same. You Will Support The Ministerial Services Team To Achieve Its Objectives Including:

  • delivering high quality and confidential administrative support to the team in a fast-paced and sensitive working environment.
  • ensuring client queries and requests are appropriately logged and monitored, driving staff compliance with response timeframes.


What you'll bring to the role

You'll bring a responsive and client-focused attitude to corporate support and service delivery, drawing on your experience to prioritise and organize work or tasks to meet strict deadlines and produce quality outcomes. You will have an ability to work effectively in a team environment, and exercise tact, discretion and professional integrity when collaborating with individuals at all levels.
