The Office of the Chief Risk Officer is accountable to the Commissioner for the development of risk and business continuity management frameworks, a strong risk management culture and integration of risk management into all areas of the Queensland Police Service (QPS).As Executive Assistant, you will provide professional secretarial and executive support to the Chief Risk Officer (Executive Director) and to the QPS Risk Management and Business Continuity Team.

Your Key Accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Manage the administrative operations of Office of the Chief Risk Officer and provide the Assistant Commissioner and other senior officers in the Executive Unit executive support, including preparing itineraries, travel arrangements and corporate card management.
- Coordinate and facilitate forums and committees, including the delivery of professional secretariat services as required.
- Develop, maintain and improve systems, business processes, practices and procedures to ensure the effective management and confidentiality of
- Develop and maintain effective communications and collaborative working relationships with executive, senior officers, support staff and liaise and consult with a range of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of senior management with high levels of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the effective operations within the Office of the Chief Risk Officer (OCRO), propose and prioritise practical solutions and disseminate information to support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), and stakeholders.
- Initiate research, participate in projects, prepare data and informative material and assist in the coordination and delivery of executive level presentations in support of the OCRO.
