Description:
With a strong preventative maintenance schedule and a backlog of high-priority tasks, our client is seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician to support their operations. This is a rotating shift role—two weeks on day shift and one week on afternoon shift—with a 20% shift loading for afternoon work. Flexibility is essential, as there is a monthly on-call requirement (with a phone allowance and a negotiated EBA currently underway).
Working Hours
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Limited overtime (potential for Saturday shifts as operational needs evolve)

Responsibilities
You’ll be part of a small, autonomous team of tradespeople responsible for maintaining and improving the site’s electrical infrastructure across a wide variety of industrial machinery and systems. Responsibilities include:
- Maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical infrastructure including panels, wiring, lighting, transformers, and outlets
- Perform fault-finding and root-cause analysis across automated and semi-automated systems
- Work with PLCs and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance across plant assets
- Support and liaise with contractors on installations and scheduled works
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required
- Maintain compliance records, equipment logs, and safety documentation
- Provide excellent internal customer service to operations and production teams
Your Profile
Our client is looking to meet with those that meet the following key selection criteria:
- Unrestricted A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Familiar with PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical fault-finding
- Ability to work independently in a small team with minimal supervision
- Full working rights
- Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills
- Comfortable working with CMMS (ideally MEX) and digital reporting tools
- Passion for safety, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement
