Your role
Responsibilities
- Developing and studying methods for fault-tolerant fusion-based quantum computing (FBQC).
- Working on project topics such as linear optical networks, FBQC protocols, quantum error-correcting codes, and simulation methods.
- Modeling the origin and propagation of errors.
- Simulating and benchmarking different protocols.
- Documenting and communicating results.
About you
Qualifications
- A degree in Physics, Math, or Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of quantum information and familiarity with quantum networks, graph states, stabilizer methods, and quantum error-correcting codes.
- Experience programming in Python, C++, or similar languages.
- Competence in using collaborative software development tools like GitHub.
- A creative and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team.
Compensation & benefits
- Hourly rate of $27.50 for those with a Bachelor's in process, and $31.00 for those with a completed Bachelor's degree.
- Housing/commuter stipend variable based on permanent residency location.
Training, development & rotations
Interns will gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge quantum computing research, contributing to the development of a full-stack quantum computing architecture.
