Description:
As a senior member of the People & Capability Team, you will have responsibility for both strategic and operational people activities. You will provide quality advice, coaching and mentoring to leaders to achieve the best outcome for their teams and the business.
As the Senior People & Capability Advisor, you will:
- Partner with and support leaders by providing advice, coaching across all areas of HR, including employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, organisational culture, remuneration and benefits,
- Support growth initiatives and work collaboratively with the broader People & Capability team to achieve business goals,
- Regularly consult with business stakeholders to identify short and long-term HR support requirements and targeted initiatives and leading execution work,
- Advise managers and employees on issues related to domestic and international secondments and relocations, flexible work arrangements, higher duty assignments,
- As either a lead or a project team member, develop and execute HR projects for business-wide initiatives.
To be successful in this role, the following are some of the traits, experience and capabilities you will have developed throughout your career:
- Have a breadth of generalist experience including both strategic and operational HR, ideally gained in engineering or construction,
- Successfully worked collaboratively with senior leadership to support strategic business goals,
- A pragmatic professional that connects easily with people and can build and maintain long-term relationships across all levels of an organisation,
- An inquisitive approach, seeking to understand key stakeholders within and across geographically dispersed teams, influencing where needed,
- Ideally a Bachelor level degree or above within human resources.
