Description:

Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) is the independent regulator of worker safety and health in Queensland's mining, quarrying, petroleum, gas and explosives industries.

The Occupational Health (OH) division within RSHQ is seeking an experienced team leader to join our Enquiries and Applications team in the Health Surveillance Unit.

Your team delivers support to external stakeholders, as well as the administration and delivery of the former mine and quarry worker program.

This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis.

You will guide, motivate and support your team to deliver high quality support and approval processes to our external stakeholders, including current workers to access ResHealth and retired workers accessing our former worker health assessment program.

What We Are Looking For

  • Excellent leadership and people management capability, including timely performance and work load management.
  • High level experience in the use of client record management, and/or contact centre systems.
  • Well-developed communication and facilitation skills (written and oral) with an ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate leadership to make decisions in a dynamically changing environment.
