An exciting backfill opportunity exists within the Curriculum, Teaching and Learning (CTL) Production team for an AO6 Senior Project Officer.The AO6, Senior Project Officer is responsible in leading the technical/web team in the development, maintenance and delivery of curriculum resources related to the implementation of the Australian Curriculum version 9 (ACV9) across multiple digital systems and platforms.

About The Role
The Senior Project Officer will:
- Lead a small technical/web team in the development, maintenance and delivery of curriculum resources and materials across multiple digital systems and platforms.
- Lead the technical solutions and delivery of the Curriculum Gateway platform utilizing HTML/CSS/JS, PHP, SharePoint Online etc.
- Quality-assure digital products and ensure compliance with whole of government standards, policies, procedures and guidelines for web publishing and digital environments
- Provide professional advice about the content management process, usability, user-centered design, information architecture, performance insights and web related issues
- Actively contribute to the teams' goals and workload by coordinating enquiries/requests and monitoring/reporting on the progress of tasks
- Develop and implement innovative and improved digital/web-based solutions aligned to department initiatives
- Consult with stakeholders to identify and determine their business needs in relation to online delivery of information and resources
- Formulate correspondence and briefs to support the on-time delivery of digital resources
- Support knowledge sharing with team members and contribute to the development of a collaborative, consultative and outcome-focused team culture
- Knowledge and understanding of departmental systems and platforms.
- Relevant qualifications and/or previous experience in web design layout and web development.
- An excellent understanding of Bootstrap, Templating engines (React, Vue etc), Statamic (or other flat file CMS), HTML5/CSS3, Git (or other version control), Azure DevOps, SharePoint Online.
- Ability to manage competing priorities to meet set deadlines.
- Ability to work across teams to build and sustain positive relationships with clients in order to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to provide high quality advice through use of clear, concise, high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
