The Role
Our client is seeking experienced Sous chefs to join their team. Must be able to work full time hours. In the absence of the Head chef, the willingness to set up and assist the team when required.
Your duties will include:
- Food Preparation
- Passion for delivering exceptional cuisine including maintaining consistency and the highest quality of food served in all kitchens
- Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene and cleanliness is practiced and maintained within the kitchen and related outlets.
- Assist in cordinating the preparation of department annual budgets
- Menu planning and food costings, develop and design menu concepts for outlets/bars
- Have a confident and outgoing personality with high level of verbal communication skills
- Organisational ability including time management, task prioritisation and resource scheduling.
Essentials:
- Chef Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Excellent communication skills and presentation
- Previous cooking Experience in a commercial kitchen
- Flexiable - nights, weekends, holiday shifts
