The Future Students and International Engagement Division manages and delivers student- focused services relating to all aspects of the future student journey including outreach and widening participation, future student service, admissions, compliance, student recruitment, events and program delivery, conversion and communications as well as services related to global partnerships development and management including international engagement, transnational education and the office of global student mobility. Delivering student and partner centric services requires the Division to seamlessly integrate with other DVC and Pro Vice Chancellor portfolios, Faculties and Schools, as well as other Divisions and Units within DVCA portfolio and teams across UOW Global Enterprises.
About the Position
The Associate Director, Global Partnerships is responsible for leading and managing Global Partnerships for UOW Australia. The post holder is the subject matter expert for Global Partnerships, with functional responsibility for transnational education, global student mobility and international engagement and will drive a range of global initiatives for the University. The position has responsibility for developing and nurturing institutional partnerships to support the University’s internationalisation goals including supporting onshore international student attraction through partner relationships.
This role leads and delivers institutional strategies and services across global partnerships and international engagement and works in close collaboration with faculties, offshore delivery sites, international partners and agencies. The position requires extensive engagement with local and global business, peak bodies, regulators, and Australian/foreign government departments to achieve the strategies of the University.

You will have a strong track record in international education management, ideally within the Australian tertiary sector, understand global partnerships, know how to craft and execute international strategies, and thrive in a competitive, target-driven environment. You will have a knack for identifying new opportunities, solving problems, and making data-informed decisions. Your interpersonal and leadership skills mean you can build influence and foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
