About the role
As the Ranger (Field Services), you will deliver park services as directed by the Manager to enable efficient and effective delivery at a district level in accordance with the Regional Action Plan. You will be accountable for the delivery of on-ground works, including, but not limited to, maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities, and the field delivery of environmental projects. You will also undertake park management duties including pest plant and animal control, vegetation management, roading, park patrol, visitor management, and many varied park management tasks. This is an incredible opportunity to begin working on the establishment of new parklands for the community in Melbourne's South East.

We're looking for someone with:
- Project management and/or procurement experience
- Demonstrated experience with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Chainsaw and/or tree felling qualifications and experience
- Demonstrated practical skills in the maintenance and operation of machinery, small equipment and tools
