We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care to a client with Spinal Cord Injury.If you are Uni student in particular in the Allied Health field, then this might be the perfect role for you!
Shifts:
Week 1: 6:30am - 9:30am Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Week 2: 6:30am -9:30am Thursday, Friday
The client has a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), and experience or knowledge in SCI care is preferred but not mandatory.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work within restricted spaces efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow care plans
- Understanding of client-centered care and respect for individual preferences and dignity
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Certificate III or IV in individual support, disability or equivalent
- Australian driver's license and your own fully insured vehicle
