Medacs Healthcare is currently looking for a Mental Health Social Worker to join a regional health service in Victoria, Australia.
The service has a total of 337 hospital beds across the two hospital campuses. The role is based in Wangaratta campus situated 3 hours not of North of Melbourne.
The Mental Health Clinician - Social Worker will be a valued member of the Adult Continuing Care Team working within the setting of a multidisciplinary team and a recovery orientated framework, to provide a high standard of clinical practice, assessment and intervention. This includes actively participating in preventive and early intervention programs, and a range of treatment modalities. The primary responsibility of the mental health clinician is to provide effective, safe and consumer focused care in the community-based setting.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degre in Social Work.
- Post graduate qualifications in mental health or to have completed a specialist undergraduate psychiatric program and/or related field or be working towards completion of qualification.
- Australian Association of Social Workers Membership or eligibility.
