The opportunity:
The Team Leader Landscape Operations is responsible for the day to day management and performance of a team of Landscape Officers to achieve the objectives of the Limestone Coast Landscape Board’s Regional Landscape Plan, the Limestone Coast Pest Management Strategy and the Landscape South Australia Act 2019 . The Team Leader Landscape Operations will work closely with the Team Leader Habitat Conservation and Team Leader Sustainable Primary Production to achieve these objectives.
The role is responsible for providing high quality and timely advice and support to the Manager Landscape Operations in the development, implementation, delivery and reporting on pest animal and plant control programs and natural resource management projects in the Limestone Coast Landscape Board region.

Special conditions:
- Position is based at Keith, or other Upper Limestone Coast location by negotiation
- A current minimum class C driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4WD is required
- Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory criminal history check
- Will have the opportunity to participate in fire management or associated duties
- Some out of hours work and intrastate travel involving overnight absences from home may be required
- Required to work alone in a field environment, including working in adverse weather conditions from time to time
- Required to undertake identified training to be appointed to conduct duties as an Authorised Officer under the Landscape South Australia Act 2019
- Must be willing to undertake and satisfactorily complete within 3 months of commencing in the role a Level 1 accreditation to handle, store and distribute 1080 bait, and, complete the required training to hold a Pest Technician’s Licence
- Required to participate in the LC Landscape Board’s Performance Development and Review Program
