Description:

This is a great way to study towards a National qualification, while getting the on-the-job experience which is so important for your future.

You will obtain your Certificate III Business BSB30120 in two year time frame – this may be the on-the-job experience you are looking for, leading to an excellent future career pathway.

What would this involve?

  • You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your training contract, & working full time with your host business.
  • Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
  • Theory training conducted one-on-one in the workplace with our experienced trainer.
  • You would receive mentoring and support throughout the traineeship.
  • Your workplace supervisors would provide daily coaching and opportunity for growth.

The responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reception & Answering telephone
  • General word processing & filing
  • Student attendance and School administration systems
  • Supporting staff, students and the school community
  • Support the student services window

Gain valuable experience on the job:

  • Develop and hone your mature, approachable manner, providing support to the team.
  • The role would include general administration tasks including phone and face to face customer service, filing, data entry, and assisting with the day-to-day duties involved in the host business.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to schedule and prioritise work, focusing on customer service, and attention to detail.
  • Cultivate a professional attitude and disposition, with the energy and enthusiasm required.

If you have the below certifications, let us know in your application:

  • WWVP card or ability to obtain
  • Will be required to complete DECYP compulsory Safeguarding modules
  • Current First Aid Certificate a bonus

Wage: National Training Wage Applies.
