About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated interdisciplinary team supporting clients with complex brain injuries. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, delivering client-centred services that support independence, enhance quality of life and foster meaningful recovery. You’ll be supported to develop your clinical skills, engage in supervision and actively contribute to quality improvement and service planning initiatives.
This dual-classification opportunity (AHP1/AHP2) is ideal for both emerging and experienced clinicians. As an AHP1, you’ll work under clinical supervision as you consolidate your skills and knowledge. As an AHP2, you’ll demonstrate advanced clinical competence, provide supervision to junior staff and students, and take on leadership in service development, education and quality improvement activities. Whichever level you join us at, you’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team making a real difference in people’s lives.
About You
Whether you are early in your career or bring a wealth of experience, we are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals eligible for full membership with Speech Pathology Australia to join our dynamic team in this dual-classified role (AHP1/AHP2).
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong clinical foundations or advanced practice capability in speech pathology assessment and treatment, with experience working with adult clients in multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary environments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , including the ability to work collaboratively with clients, carers, and health professionals while maintaining a client-centred and culturally sensitive approach.

Sound professional judgement and problem-solving abilities , including organisational skills to manage clinical priorities and documentation requirements, with increasing independence at the AHP2 level.

Commitment to ongoing development , teamwork, and a culture of inclusion, integrity, and continuous improvement, with the ability to accept feedback and contribute to team and patient outcomes.
