An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Civil Designer to take on a diverse role in providing technical support and delivering detailed design documentation for a variety of infrastructure projects within the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.
This is an excellent opportunity to use your Civil Design and Drafting experience in a role that has a variety of Engineering Challenges and projects.
The successful applicant will have experience in Civil Design Drafting, the ability to communicate effectively, a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare Civil Engineering designs and plans which relate to stormwater, road, footpath, traffic control devices, and public open space projects.
- Provide Computer Aided Drafting and technical support to the Team Leader Design, and other members of the Design team.
- Respond to Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) enquiries.
- Provide general support to Developers, Public Utilities, internal staff and the general public with regard to Civil Engineering design related matters.
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
- A tertiary qualification/Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field is desirable.
- Experience using AutoCAD computer aided drafting software is essential.
- Experience using 12D and/or Civil3D civil design software is essential.
- A current driver's license is essential.

This is a Level 5 position which has a current salary range of $103,808.18 - $108,496.39 (plus Super).
