Join Kogan.com as a Junior Category Manager in Training, managing categories and driving eCommerce growth.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 12-month rotation program through all category teams within the Kogan.com Purchasing Team.
  • Manage assigned categories with the Head of Product Pillar.
  • Support sourcing projects and partner with suppliers.
  • Optimize category performance and product range.
  • Identify opportunities for range expansion and negotiate trading terms.
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales and inventory to achieve goals and KPIs.
  • Manage eDMs and collaborate with the Marketing team on promotions.
  • Seek process improvements for efficiency.

About you

Qualifications

  • University Degree qualified in Commerce, Business, or a similar field.
  • Experienced in retail (preferred but not essential).
  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Highly analytical with commercial acumen.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Tech-savvy with IT and cloud-based tools.
  • Ready to challenge and be challenged in a disruptive business model.
