- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for CAPEX/Construction categories.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.
- Utilise Oracle or Zycus systems for procurement and supply chain management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Monitor market trends and make recommendations accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Provide regular reports on procurement activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
A successful Category Manager - CAPEX/Construction should have:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Oracle or Zycus systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Understanding of the Healthcare industry.
