Description:
The TSRA Fisheries Program is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated worker.This exciting role will provide high level of Project and administration support to the Fisheries Team and supporting the Fisheries program activities and operations.
The Project Officer will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate logistical requirements and operations for the region's fisheries.
The key duties of the position include
The key activity for this position includes:
1. Work independently and with our team leaders to support and assist in the daily operations of a vibrant Fisheries team.
2. Manage the Fisheries Programme Budget and ensure fisheries expenditure is accurately recorded and re-ported in accordance with agreed timeframes.
3. Computer-based data entry including requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, correspondence manage-ment, and Committee Member's entitlements.
4. Oversee and coordinate updates to assure access and record keeping on the Fisheries Program SharePoint information system.
5. Coordinate logistics for meetings including travel, accommodation, meeting venue and catering if required.
6. As required, assist and support other Fisheries Program team member in TSRA, FAC and PZJA Fisheries Meetings including agenda papers, minutes, action items and general correspondence.
7. Assist in developing, implementing and evaluating marketing and communication strategies.
8. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a culturally appropriate manner to ensure positive communication outcomes.
9. Assist in contract management and administration of Grants by maintaining appropriate risk management processes.
10. Other duties as directed by the Fisheries Program Manager.
