Description:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and ensure all statutory and internal reporting requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
- Manage the month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contribute to the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Work with key stakeholders to provide insights and improve financial planning accuracy.
- Analyse actuals versus budget/forecast and provide clear reporting and commentary to management.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, FBT, and other tax requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits and respond to audit queries promptly.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and support scalability.
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and help drive performance across the business.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA certification
- Proven experience in financial accounting, with a strong understanding of management accounting
- Experience within a fast-paced, industrial, or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance, and tax obligations
- High level of accuracy, analytical ability, and a solutions-focused mindset
- A proactive, change-driven mindset with the ability to adapt and innovate
