Description:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow this heritage brand's footprint in the Australian market.
  • National travel required to engage with customers and drive business growth.
  • Drive new business development by conducting in-field market research across local markets, gaining insights to tailor strategic plans for each territory.
  • Identify and securing partnerships with leading retailers, distributors, and small independents.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring sustainable growth and brand presence.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Report on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline development to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of growing brand presence in the Australian market.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with retailers, distributors, and independents.
  • Demonstrated experience prospecting, winning new business and closing.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop tailored territory plans based on local market research.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on maximising sales performance and brand growth.
  • Experience in consumer goods or kitchenware sectors is a plus, but not essential.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and travel nationally to engage with customers and drive business growth.
