About the role:
The Student Pathways and Careers Division supports secondary schools in delivering a consistent approach to engage, retain and transition young people into employment, vocational education, and higher education pathways.
The Senior Project Officer reports to the Manager Strategic Projects and is responsible for planning, delivering, and contributing to the development and implementation of strategic projects, programs and initiatives that underpin the outcomes of the Student Pathways and Careers division. This role provides leadership and coordination in project management to ensure all activities are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope.
The Senior Project Officer also supports the implementation and monitoring of various projects funded through the Federation Funding Agreement (Education and Skills) and State commitments to defence industry workforce skilling.
Qualifications:
Essential: Nil.
Desirable: Relevant post graduate qualifications.
Special conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
