Description:

Lead the delivery of an end-to-end organisational change program, including restructures and workforce transitions -
Collaborate with senior leadership to build and implement a structured change management plan -
Conduct impact assessments and manage critical project milestones -
Partner with line managers to provide guidance and support throughout consultation phases -
Engage with unions and IR stakeholders, leveraging in-house industrial relations expertise -
Translate strategic design decisions into operational outcomes, ensuring compliance with NSW Government policy -
Monitor project progress, risk and outcomes, providing regular reporting to executive stakeholders
Requirements:
We're looking for a senior HR practitioner who combines strong business partnering skills with deep expertise in organisational change.
You will bring:

Demonstrated success delivering change management projects in the NSW public sector (essential) -
Deep understanding of public sector frameworks, restructures, and industrial relations -
Experience managing sensitive, confidential projects involving redundancies or role redesign - Experience in workforce design, planning and organisational re structures

Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility at executive level -
Hands-on delivery style, with comfort navigating ambiguity and tight timeframes
Conditions:

Daily Rate: Up to $1,125/day PAYG -
Contract Length: 6 months, starting ASAP -
Location: McKell Building, Sydney CBD (3-4 days per week on-site) -
Influence at Executive Level: Work closely with the CEO, COO, Chief of Staff and People & Culture lead -
Impact: Play a key role in shaping the future design and function of a high-profile public institution -
Support: Access to internal IR team and resources to guide consultation and compliance
