In this 6-month contract position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, this role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing vehicle ordering team, where you will be responsible for vehicle ordering and conducting analysis on related topics.

Key duties & responsibilities :

· Support the overall vehicle ordering process for Australia and New Zealand (Agent, Corporate, Rental, Company, Launch and Pool vehicles) in assigned Product Groups.

· Maintain overall timelines and manage stakeholder expectations.

· Manage, maintain and escalate if required - ordering inbox, Agent queries and factory queries

· Monitor and control pipeline vehicle inventory levels.

· Resolve production date differences and ordering shortages in Interactive Differences Report (IDR).

· Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding Product topics.

· Prepare month end reporting for internal stakeholders and MBAG (Head Quarters).

· Provide analysis and input into the MBC Vehicle Ordering Committee in regard to Ordering trends, Restrictions, Shortages/Substitutions and other Ordering related topics as required.

· Participate in varying departmental projects and enhancements (UAT) as required.

What you will need to be successful :

· Detailed knowledge of Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific, its brand, products and customer expectations.

· Highly developed analytical skills – ability to take complex data and present it in a logical and easy to understand format.

· Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.

· Enthusiastic self-starter with positive attitude to delivering uncompromising service to dealer network and internal stakeholders.

· GO/SWT Preferred but not essential.

· Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or information systems. Preferred but not essential.
